2025 Election

Election Notice

Notice is hereby given that the year 2025 is an election year for the Town of Oak City Mayor and (2) four-year Council positions which will begin on the first Monday of January in 2026. If there are a sufficient number of candidates, a Primary Election will be held August 12, 2025. A candidate must be a US citizen, at least 18 years old, a registered voter, and a resident of the Town of Oak City (or reside in an annexed area) for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the General Election on November 4, 2025.

A Declaration of Candidacy must be filed with the Town of Oak City Recorder at the Town of Oak City Hall, located at 30 West Center St. Oak City, Utah between Monday, June 2 and Friday, June 6, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Potential candidates are hereby advised that an ordinance is in force that requires compliance with Campaign Finance Disclosure requirements throughout the election process.
